Important Note about materials!

Using poor quality hardware (Nylon, other composites) close to the barrel can melt. Even some metallic hardware (Zinc) may be prone to heat cycling, fowling, or improper strength retention over time.

Our mounting hardware is steel, and should hold up in 99% of use cases. In the 1% of extreme situations, you can use Magpul hardware that is of the best, duty-grade materials. 

Important Note about fit!

The Magpul hardware will cover slightly more of the design

Torx hardware covers the least of the design

Hex hardware covers the metal ring of the cut-out circles

Torx hardware:

• (2) Screws: M4-0.7 x 8mm Mini-countersunk Screws, 12.9 Grade Alloy Steel, Torx T15 drive
  

Hex hardware:

• (2) Screws: M4-0.7 x 8mm Button Head Socket Cap Screws, 10.9 Grade Alloy Steel, Allen Socket Drive, Black Oxide Finish
  

M-Lok & KeyMod compatible nuts:

• (2) Nuts: M4 T-Slot Nickel Plated Carbon Steel

Silicone Washers:

• (2) Silicone Washers
• Heat Resistant to 400 degrees
• Chemical Resistant
• Act as a lock washer, reducing the chance of noise and vibration
• Thermal break between hand guard and LokPin

Red Thread Locker:

• 1 Single Use Vial
• Maximum hold
• Needs high temperatures to release
• Not recommended if going to be removed

Blue Thread Locker:

• 1 Single Use Vial
• Medium hold
• Can be removed with hand tools
