LokPin Install Instructions
*We have gone through a couple iterations of included hardware. Currently the best fit for M-Lok is the black nuts, and the silver nuts for keymod. If you have an early order and have issues with fit, we will send out a new hardware set to see if that will work better for you.
**We are also trying to reduce the amount of plastic in our packaging while keeping your items protected.
Â
We recommend Magpul's Install instructions, available here.
Â
Install only on the bottom and sides of the rail. Do not mount on the top near the barrel or in any location where convection heat or hot gases may come into direct contact with the LokPin or its hardware.

KeyMod
For single Slot LokPins, the KeyMod alignment will be slightly off. Tighten the forward bolt first and then the rearward one. For 2.25" and 3 inch LokPins, the measurements are to KeyMod Spec and will line up exactly at the front of the KeyMod hole.
The pin will still be secure. We recommend thread locker and silicone washers for KeyMod since there is less rail to hold the bolts onto.

Round Bolts: (Slings, Shoes, belts, etc.)
Same general steps as above, but make sure your buckles have free range of motion and the pin will not stop your sliders from moving.
Make sure the pin area is not subject to bending, as the pin may bend as well. They are durable, but still a thin piece of metal.
Â
Install Tips:
If the t-nuts keep spinning and will not tighten, pull up gently on the pin so the t-nut lines up in the slot. Make sure it is perpendicular before tightening further.
If the pin still pulls up, the t-nut is not in position. Loosen the bolt until the t-nut can rotate in the 90* position and then tighten.
Over tightening can force the t-nut to spin, or to dent the rail slot. Make sure it is in position and DO NOT over tighten. Let the Tread Locker and/or washers hold it in place.
If your LokPin falls out with heavy use. Consider using the OEM Magpul hardware. It will stay in place in extreme situations. (Available on Magpul's website)
